Executive Bio - Andreas Lackner
Area Vice President Brand Management, Full Service Brands, EMEA, Hilton
Andreas Lackner is the area vice president for full service brands across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
He is responsible for implementing new products, service standards, and practices that strengthen the image of the brands, ensuring that they remain the first choice for customers. Andreas also focuses on developing owner relations and driving portfolio development across EMEA.
He joined Hilton in August 2013 from Starwood Hotels & Resorts where he held the position of Regional Director of Marketing, East and Central Europe.
Andreas has more than 35-years of experience in the hospitality industry, starting out his career as a chef in Austria. Since then, he has worked across nearly all hospitality functions, including front of house, IT, procurement, sales and marketing, revenue management, and business development.
Academically, Andreas has completed a number of advanced professional educational programs at leading institutions, including, Cornell University Ithaca, IDM Lausanne and INSEAD Fontainebleau.
